Dear all my friends,

2020 is a year which most of the people world over will like to forget.By March end the world was swept by a dangerous Pandomic called COVID19 which originated from wuhan China and the spread was so fast even the developed countries started helplessness with lakhs of deaths mounting on a daily basis which is still continuing.Only consolation is finding and testing of Vaccine by some companies world over is giving hope of recovery days ahead. Among one among the top developing countires, this COVID derailed Indias economy to a great extent.The government expectation to make India a trillion economy got a hit out of the blue and almost the entire country was put to lockdowns followed by measures to control the covid.Success rate varied from state to state and quite often fluctuating.USA is the worst hit among all countries with a deat rate of 3,50 lalkhs and India is positioned 2nd at 1.48 lakhs as reported.It is reported that our country be able to inoculate around 30 crores by July 2021 which gives hopes of recovery. Apart from deaths, Covid paid way for isolation of China economically by many of the western countries and most of the countries are trying to shift their base from China for ever.

India during Covid period witnessed the greated exodus of migrant labourers from one state to another which has affected our economy to great extent, that it hit the backbone of many sectors considerably. 

INDIA HAD THE GREATEST SHOCK when China using Covid as a cover inflirated into our country and is occupying some of the portions of our country forcibly.China backstabbed us a act ofcowardice when India opened its door to china under Make in India policy. We have moved large contigent of defense forces to safe guard our country. The worst and saddest thing was the killing of 20 soldiers who were stoned to death.Many talks between External affairs minitry has been going on with no result.China has not moved a inch back which is not a good sign of International relationship.Even our Suraksha Mantri has expressed concern over the situation exisiting in the border. Hope 2021 will bring cheers to our country. In addition to Covid many states had floods which made things more difficult.

 

In covid control States were allowed to take steps as per needs and measures were taken to open the ecoomy in a phased manner. That tilted the covid figures  up in many states initially and relaxations are being implemented in a phased manner which is showing some improvement in economic actvity. Governments warning to follow wearing mask and keeping social distancing seems to be in deaf ears in many places.Schools and Colleges remain shut and is said to open by January2021

In the domestic political front, politically BJP is getting stronger inspite of many of its allies leaving them.With a divided opposition BJP is implementing all their political agenda violating democratic norms many a times.The most significant one is the recent agriculturists strike which has crossed 32 days.While Covid was referred as reason for the postponment of winter season, state elelctions and other corporation, Municipal elections were held as schedule. Poltiical activities are in full swing and many areas covid violations goes unabated. 

IPL cricket was held in Dubai and was a success to all who have pumped crores of rupees. India made a strong comeback in India Australia Test series with winning the second test commendably after a shameful dismissal for 36 runs in second innings of first test which Australia won.

Many known personalities left us during 2020. Pranams to all departed souls.

My Salute to our defense peresonnels who sacrificing their lives are bordering our boundaries day and night withstanding all difificult climatic conditions which is worth appreciating.  Contribution of 

our COVID WARRIORS which includes all people of Medicial fraternity,para medical people, Police personnels, Bankemployees,governemnt servants, agriculturists, so too many who are working directly and indirectly to keep our morale high during this time of Pandemic whose worth cannot be measured in words. Long Live these people who are our mainstreams in all our daily activities.

Inspite of all these dififculties it is heartening to note that India is making a great opening in Digital platforms, Online classes, Virtual meetings, WFH which will give our country a boost among developing nations. New Startups, mergers, accqusations,etc are giving a great hope to our economy in the days ahead.It is nice to see many of our corporates contributed heavily to PM care fund and many known and unknown have done their part silently in helping our country to fight the Covid in a commendable manner.
